JAROSLAV KOČA BRIDGE FUND

for Student Interdisciplinarity

JAROSLAV KOČA BRIDGE FUND is a fund addressed to CEITEC PhD students which aims to further promote interdisciplinary projects between Life Sciences and Material Science at CEITEC.

The proposed project must be focused on interdisciplinary research between two Research Programmes - one in Life Sciences (Structural Biology, Genomics and Proteomics of Plant Systems, Molecular Medicine, Brain and Mind Research or Molecular Veterinary Medicine Research Programme) and one in Materials Science (Advanced Nano- and Microtechnologies or Advanced Materials Research Programme). It means that a student will spend time in both laboratories.

Students whose projects will be accepted will get a stipend 10 000 CZK  per month and 50 000 CZK lump sum for consumables per year.

The stipend is assigned for the time duration of one year. Then the student can apply in the next call (with the explanation of why his/her project should be funded for one more year).

The maximum capacity of the call is 9 granted projects a year.
